About

This class is inclusive to a range of abilities, even those that say they can’t draw. (Remember there was a time when you couldn’t read? Drawing is also a skill that can be learnt!)

Templates are provided to assist your skill development & if you are an advanced student- you can opt to go free hand and just follow along with the masterclass step by step. In this first series you will develop your confidence and learn industry techniques to create professional fashion illustrations. The small class size ensures content is adapted to your skill level, and you can receive feedback throughout the masterclass. You will leave with a toolkit of new skills and templates that you can reference and utilise as a starting point for future work.

How is this different from other online courses?

Course is delivered LIVE, so that you can ask questions and interact

The same content is delivered in the day & evening session each week. So you can attend at the time that suits you.

Printable templates are provided to you prior to class via email

Your teacher is an accredited teacher that has trained 1,000’s of students (& teachers!) via schools, Tafe and RTOs, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Art, Bachelor of Teaching, Diploma of Vocational Education and training & fashion industry skills. You can find out more about her here.

FAQ

What do I need for Fashion Illustration Masterclass 001?

  • Access to the internet as the class is LIVE via Google Meet

  • Graphite pencil

  • Eraser

  • Sharpener

  • Black fine liners. Ideally: 0.6 & 0.4 AND /OR a black brush marker

  • Print the templates on A4 paper prior to the class

  • Paper. We find A4 copy paper best. Yes the regular paper you pop into your printer. We don’t want you to be precious and nervous on fancy paper. (And if you place copy paper over our templates you will be able to trace). However, you are so welcome to work on premium art cardstock.

  • 2 x clips to keep your work together and to use when / if tracing.

  • Optional - Tracing paper

Everything you need is in this photo! (Well almost, we couldn’t photograph the internet!)
