Australian Super Cotton

Home to the longest, finest, softest & strongest threads of cotton, grown in Queensland, Australia.

Australian Super Cotton is premium cotton - so premium that it’s in a class of its own. Australian Super Cotton has long staple (fibre) length -this means we can create a stronger garment out of less yarn. Fewer fibres in turn means softness and a more luxurious feel.

The raw premium cotton feels very soft and silky but it’s not only the feel that is beautiful. This fabric started as a cotton plant grown at Rogan Pastoral Co, a fourth generation 100% Australian owned and operated, family farm, the home of Australian Super Cotton. The family has been growing upland cotton at St George, in Queensland since 1976 and their innovative farming methods have seen them recognised as industry leaders.

The Rogan’s pride themselves on producing a high quality fibre under sustainable and ethical farming practices, which is why we are so happy to design with their beautiful fabric. We source Australian Super Cotton from B Corp Full Circle Fibres

It is a small world. Your designer’s dad, drove his first cotton picker on the Rogan’s cotton farm, before returning to NSW to start farming his own. Kevin Simmons is photographed here, in his cotton field.
