Our showcase for Brisbane Fashion Month was inspired by our Australian cotton fibres. These photos are taken at the Rogan family property ‘Benelong,’ St George. This is where we sourced our single origin Australian cotton used in this collection. Find out more about Australian Super Cotton here.
We are inspired by the Australian cotton industry. They were the first Australian agricultural industry to independently assess its environmental impacts; and are now produce the world’s most water efficient cotton production. And they do it using 97% less insecticides than they did in 1992. More than 90% of Australian cotton farms are family owned. The Morawitz sisters, farm together at the Central Highlands, Queensland.
